Ruptash strikes twice, St. Albert Sabres defeat Rink Winnipeg in Shootout
Calgary, AB – Luke Ruptash scored two goals and Chase Huberdeau scored in round six of the shootout to give the St. Albert Sabres a 4-3 win over the Rink Winnipeg at Winsport - Arena C on Wednesday.
Capping off the scoring for the St. Albert Sabres was and Hunter Saddleback with a single marker. Goaltender Pacey Thomas turned aside 26 shots for the St. Albert Sabres in the win.
Sniping for the Rink Winnipeg was Drayden Uhrina, Cohen Lewko and Anthony Bedard each adding single tallies. Knox Burton added two assists. Goaltender Hudson Hunnie made 33 saves in the loss for the Rink Winnipeg.
With the win, the St. Albert Sabres improve to 2-0-0-0 while the Rink Winnipeg fall to 1-0-0-1.
